To remember and recall Hang Tuah's heroism, the state of Malacca has developed the Hang Tuah Village complex. The size is 40 acres, and the cost is over 130 million ringgit. Here, you can see the historic Hang Tuah Well and enjoy the view of the traditional Malay village that has existed for hundreds of years. This village houses six buildings with Malacca Malay architecture, namely the Hang Tuah Center which is equipped with information and interactive information and the history of the hero, the Hang Tuah House, the Hang Lekir House, the Hang Lekiu House, the Hang Kasturi House and the Hang Jebat House in addition to traditional Malay houses, an auditorium that can accommodate up to 200 people at a time and a cultural stage.

This 54 acres second largest zoo in Malaysia under the new Majlis Perbandaran Hang Tuah Jaya will see a transformation of the zoo to an open concept in animal exhibit, enhancing wildlife education programme, animal breeding and conservation programme and making the zoo to be a recreational area.
The ever popular Night Safari will be enhanced to give visitors a unique opportunity in observing the behaviour of nocturnal animals in their natural habitats.

Trail 1
Explore the area around Jonker Street by foot. Visit a few museums , temples , mausoleums of 2 legendary warriors as well as old buildings. Take pictures along the street art or along the scenic Melaka River. Cool down with local and traditional sweets and meals in the cafes along Jonker Walk and the side lanes .
Trail 2
This trail requires good walking shoes. Take a slow walk around the UNESCO historical sites and visit a few Museums strategically located within walking distance. End the trail with a delicious bowl of Cendol near the Dutch Square . Detour to Jonker Street, Mahkota Parade or Dataran Pahlawan for shopping or lunch/dinner.
Trail 3
You need half a day to explore this trail. After breakfast, start off with the Hang Tuah Center and learn about the 5 legendary warriors. Move towards the Portuguese Settlement and enjoy Portuguese seafood by the sea before proceeding to the Prison Museum. Stop over at Selat Mosque for your prayers before enjoying a 360 view of Melaka town at the Taming Sari Tower . Choose to go shopping at Mahkota Parade/ Dataran Pahlawan or visit the Sultan's Well (previously known as Perigi Hang Li Po) which is located next to a temple.
Trail 4
This trail explores tourism near the Ayer Keroh Toll and allows you to escape the traffic jam in town. Wear comfortable shoes while you explore nature . From reptiles and butterflies to local architecture and more animals before chilling at Ayer Keroh Lake which is next to the Melaka Zoo Parking Lot.
Trail 5
This trail provides different possible sub-routes. If you love animals then visit the Bird Park, Bee Gallery and the Crocodile farm which may take half day. Or you can choose to spend the whole day at the Melaka Zoo and Dinosaur Encounter. if you enjoy adventure, try SKYTREX and wind down with a relaxing stroll in the Melaka Botanical Park or enjoy the Water Park at Melaka Wonderland.
Trail 6
This trail takes you away from the jam packed area of Melaka town and Ayer Keroh. Proceed to the Melaka River Cruise main station at Taman Rempah to enjoy an approximate 40 minute boat ride along the Melaka River. Then enjoy the oceanarium in the Shore, a kid-friendly marine life exhibits, including touch pools, sea turtles & 100+ types of seashells. Next enjoy a 360 degree breathtaking views for up to 50 km in every direction at the Sky Tower before proceeding to the only Submarine Museum in Malaysia. End the evening by hanging out by the seaside, enjoying the breeze and end the day by watching the sunset.
