The Parit Penghulu Homestay is located in South Malacca which is near the border of Johor. It takes 25 minutes to travel here from Malacca city and 15 minutes from Muar town. Activities such as Rubber Tapping, home cooking lessons and also cultural dances and musical performances can be enjoyed here.

There are activities like rubber tapping, batik painting, cultural night performances.

A welcome reception with a special kampung (traditional percussion instrument) performance, a rubber-tapping demonstration,cultural performances, local traditional games, and a visit to a basketry centre, a paddy field, an oil palm plantation and to see some beautiful traditional houses.

Kampung Pulai is located about 16.5 km to the south of Melaka City.The village was opened by Daeng Taib, a Bugis about 150 years ago.

 

The name of the village, Pulai was taken from a type of tree that can be found within area.

Homestay kampung Pulai is to educate  foreign tourists about the unique culture, arts, traditions, and their way of life, of the Bugis peopple in Melaka.

 

Some of the attractions that can be found in Kampung Pulai include the making of a Malaysia instrument called kompang. Kompang is one f the most porplar Malay Traditional instruments made of wood, cow or goat skin.

 

Kampung Pulai also popular with its craft like parang, traditional food like dodol, wajik, and tapai pickles industry, iron tool and utensils and many more.
