Pulau Upeh
Pulau Upeh may only be a tiny island in Melaka, but it has interesting stories to tell. It is known as peaceful getaway, equipped with a resort and water-sport facilities that cater to both locals and tourists. Most importantly, Pulau Upeh is one of the top nesting sites for the rare Hawksbill turtle in Malaysia. The Hawksbill turtle is one of the earth’s rare species marine turtle with a hawk-like beak and a thorny shell and can be found only at Pulau Upeh in Melaka.

Pantai Klebang
Klebang Beach is one of the most popular beaches in the state of Melaka. It can be said that it is a mandatory stop for visitors who like to go to the beach to see the sunset with beautiful sand and weeds to take pictures. It is often the focus of tourists and photographers because of its strategic position located about 5 to 6 km from Bandar Hilir, Melaka making it an easy location to find. There are some who make this beach area especially in Klebang sand as one of the places for wedding photography. Here, you can enjoy the fresh air blowing while listening to the sound of waves breaking on the beach. With the wind blowing so briskly and the sandy surface of the beach being spacious, children can play with kites which are widely sold here. You can also ride a pony, horse cart, or ride an ATV.

A 54-acre zoological park which hosts more than 1200 animals including 215 species of birds, amphibians, reptiles, mammals. The zoo acts as both a rescue base and an animal sanctuary and was the first in Malaysia to exhibit the critically endangered Sumatran rhinoceros. Other species exhibited in the zoo, both local and foreign, included the white rhinoceros, Asian elephants, red panda, Malaysian gaur, the serow, the squirrel monkey, the molurus python, the grey wolf, the Mongolian wild horse, the green tree python, the giraffe, the blue-and-yellow macaw and also the Indochinese tiger as well as the Malayan tiger.

Privately-run crocodile farm and zoo in the town of Ayer Keroh, in the Malaysian state of Malacca. Established in July 1987, it is the largest crocodile farm in Malaysia, expands over an area of 3.5 hectares of reserved forest land in the town. Though mainly exhibits crocodiles, the farm also hosts other reptile species such as snakes, tortoise, turtles and terrapins and animal species such as birds and mammals.he farm's entrance gate was built like a mini fort with a flight of steps leading inside. It consists of several attractions, namely the main crocodile farm, reptile corner, mammal house, walkthrough aviary, 6,000 sq ft children water playground, Malaysia miniature (miniature version of Malaysia's famous landmarks), petting zoo, haunted house and herb's garden.

Malacca Botanical Garden is a botanical garden located in Ayer Keroh, Malacca, Malaysia. It was established in April 1984 as Ayer Keroh Recreational Forest, and got its present name on 1 June 2006. Hang Tuah Mausoleum

The Hang Tuah Mausoleum is the burial place of the legendary hero Hang Tuah, a great Malay warrior who showed astonishing loyalty to the royal family. Located beside the small Chinese temple Theah Teik Keong, the tomb is claimed to be that of Malay warrior Hang Kasturi. Hang Kasturi is one of the five brothers-in-arm led by Hang Tuah was also a distinguished warrior during the Malacca Malay Sultanate., particularly during the reign of Sultan Mansur Shah (1456-1477), the other four being Hang Tuah, Hang Jebat, Hang Lekiu and Hang Lekir. Hang Jebat Mausoleum

Hang Jebat is the second most skilled and famous warrior among the five warriors besides Hang Tuah. Hang Jebat was accused of disloyalty to the Sultan and was killed by Hang Tuah in a fight for honor that lasted three days and three nights. He went berserk after suffering from a severe wound caused by Hang Tuah's Taming Sari dagger. His tomb is located in the old town of Malacca on Jalan Hang Jebat near Jonker Street. The exact age of the tomb cannot be determined but the Acheh design of the tomb suggests that Jebat was given a warrior's burial despite his dangerous rage and humiliating death in the palace.

The well once functioned as the main source of water for the Dutch soldiers who were stationed there in addition to drinking and bathing their horses during the colonial era in Malaya. The well is believed to have been built by the Dutch soldiers who guarded the place during the war against the Bugis. Perigi Air Buak that has existed for a long time in Kampung Baru Bukit Beruang since the time of British military rule which is said to be almost 100 years old. Aware of the special features of the old well, the state government has taken the initiative to upgrade the well to make it one of the newest tourism products for Melaka.
Based on stories from the villagers involved, the well started when water from underground suddenly burst out and since then, the people living nearby built a new well for the people there to use. Since that incident, the water from the well has never dried up even in the dry season, including when Malacca was hit by a severe water supply crisis in 1990.

Perigi Hang Li Poh

The Hang Li Poh Well is one of the historical relics in Melaka; built on the orders of Sultan Mansur Shah for the use of his wife, Princess Hang Li Poh who is a descendant of Chinese nobility. The well served as a facility for the princess and her relatives during their settlement in Melaka. The well was built in 1459 by the followers of Hang Li Poh as the main water source in the town. After conquering Malacca in 1511, the Portuguese secured the well and used it as their main water source supply. After conquering Malacca in 1677, the Dutch surrounded the well with solid brick walls to protect the well. However, during the British period, they neglected the well and let it fall into despair. This well never dries up and is the only source of water during the dry season.

Villa Sentosa Living Museum

Villa Sentosa is a little known tourist attraction in Melaka as it is not an official museum maintained by the family members of the old house owners. It is the only Malay village in the heart of Malacca City. Kampung Morten was named after F.J Morten, the land commissioner of during the British colonial era in 1920. There are more than 100 traditional Malay houses in Kampung Morten.
Villa Sentosa is also known as the Malay Living Museum as it exhibits the typical lifestyle of a rich Malaysian family in the early 20th century and showcase a traditional Malay house setup. Though Malacca town has developed rapidly in the last decade, Villa Sentosa is carefully preserved in its traditional style.

The Ethnography Museum pay particular attention to the lifestyle of the different communities and sub-communities that make up the population of Melaka – the Malays, the Chinese, the Indians, the Portuguese, the Baba and Nyonya, the Chetti and Chitty communities.
Among the exhibits on display are items used in traditional wedding ceremonies, kitchen utensils, musical instruments and collections of ancient porcelain ware. There are also collections of ancient weapons, stamps and various currencies.

Cheng Ho Culture Museum is believed to be a restructured ancient building with Ming architecture, with two to three hundred years of history. The famous Cheng Ho is the Ming Dynasty Admiral who has visited Malacca many times while en route to the Western Ocean from 1405-1433. It is believed that he has set up a huge warehouse complex along the northern side of Malacca River. To date, there has been dispute in the location of the warehouse complex, while some believed to be at Bukit Cina. The Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum is located in Melaka, a World UNESCO Site. The house is a combination of three terrace lots that were acquired by the Chan family in 1861. Four generations lived in the house before it was opened as a museum in March 1985. The name of the museum is derived from the term Baba, an honorific manner of addressing a Straits-born gentleman and Nyonya which addresses a Straits-born lady.
Meander through the home of Baba Chan Cheng Siew (1865-1919) whose eclectic taste offers a glimpse into the richness of the culture and the opulence that was fashionable in many pre-World War II Peranakan homes.

The Maritime Museum or the Flora de Lamar is a replica of the Portuguese ship which sank in the coast of Malacca while on its way to Portugal. The replica is a staggering 34 meters in height and 8 meters in width. The main focus of the museum is the maritime history of Malacca and the golden ages of Malacca’s Sultanate as the Emporium of the East. There are also paintings which displays how the Straits of Malacca was a strategic location for traders from both the east and the west stop by at Malacca/Melaka and conduct their businesses while waiting for the monsoon winds to change direction.
The museum has myriads of exhibits of articles such as porcelain, silk, textile and spices used by the seamen of the yesteryears and even come sunken treasures hauled from Diana, another shipwreck. Other than exhibits on the history of the Malaccan Maritime, the museum also showcases the different eras that Malacca has gone through starting from the Malacca Sultanate era to the Portuguese era, Dutch era and ending with the British era.

The Melaka Islamic Museum is located at the old building of Melaka Islamic Religion Council (MAIM). This building is the heritage remains of Dutch with its interior renovated in adaptation to the concept of the golden era of Islam in Melaka and Archipelago. Amongst the interesting collections on display are the replica of an early Al-Quran, historical records of mosques in Melaka, a sword replica owned by the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), the holy books, eminent religious figures and theologians from Melaka and Malaysia.

Melaka Literature Museum
(Muzium Sastera)
Bangunan Stadhuys, Jalan Kota, 75000 Melaka
Located on the shoulder of St. Paul Hill, Melaka Literature Museum (Muzium Sastera) is now housed in building near the Stadthuys that used to be the administration office of the Melaka State Development Corporation. Melaka Literature Museum pays particular attention to the Malays history of writing and literature, dated back to the period of Melaka Sultanate up til the present.

Malaysia Architectural Museum No.1 Jln. Kota 75000 Melaka
The Malaysian Architecture Museum was established in 2004. Its main objective is to showcase the uniqueness and diversity of architectural heritage in Malaysia as well as to handle and provide basic information on the history and development of architecture found in this country. More interestingly, this building, which is a museum, is also a Dutch colonial architectural heritage building around the 1700s.
Opens everyday from 9.00 am - 5.00 pm (except on the first Monday of each month)
Closed on first two days of Raya Aidil Fitri and first day of Raya Aidil Adha

Portuguese Settlement
Ujong Pasir, Melaka
The Portuguese Settlement Melaka, or Kampung Portugis, is located a couple of kilometres outside of Melaka city centre in an area known as Ujong Pasir and is home to a small community of around 1,000 people descended from early Portuguese settlers.
In the 1930s, the British Resident, at the request of a French missionary, allowed the establishment of a fishing village of wooden huts on an area of swampy land next to the sea. Proclamation of Independence Memorial
Memorial Pengisytiharan Kemerdekaan, Jln Parameswara, Banda Hilir, 75000 Malacca
The Proclamation of Independence Memorial is a museum in Melaka City, stablished in 1912. The building used to house the Malacca Club which was used as the social centre of the British people in British Malaya. The memorial was set up and officiated by former Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman on 31 August 1985, 28 years after the independence of the country.
