Jamek Umbai Mosque was built in 1852 and gazetted on May 6, 2004. This mosque has 6 pillars, 2 stone concrete pillars and 4 pillars made of diamond wood. This wooden diamond pillar was carved by several skilled carvers. The dome of the mosque is made of Malacca strait coral. Here there is also a historical tomb which is the Tomb of Sultan Ali.
