The Demang Abdul Ghani Gallery, also known as Rumah Penghulu Abdul Ghani, is a dedicated exhibition space that showcases the life and history of Demang Abdul Ghani and his family, whose ancestry traces back to Palembang. Referred to at times as the Merlimau Palace, this gallery, initially the administrative hub of the village, served as a crucial meeting point for community discussions in the past. Erected in 1894 by Abdul Ghani, the building has a rich history, having housed notable individuals like Abdul Majid from 1831 to 1834, Demang Abdul Ghani from 1834 to 1934, and Mat Natar from 1934 to 1978. In 2008, extensive conservation efforts were undertaken to preserve the historical structure, leading to the official opening of the gallery in February 2011.
