Kampung Morten
Kampung Morten, located in the heart of Melaka City, is the only Malay village in Melaka City. The village is considered as a living museum, as many of its residents still practice a way of life that has not changed much and many exhibit the uniqueness of their home design. The village was named after J.F. Morten, the Land commissioner in the early 1920s. Morten played a role in building the village, which was formerly just a swamp. It is next to the scenic Melaka River and near a shopping outlet, Spice Garden River Cruise and a few other recreational areas.
Kampung Tambak Paya
Kampung Tambak Paya got its name after a reclamation works done on a swampy land in 1949 to make way for the pupils to reach the nearby school, which has been built on a 'wakaf land' donated by Hajah Mariam Binti Kanto. Originally, the kampung was known as Kampung Batu 9 and was opened by Tn. Hj. Moksin bin Karto Tarono and his colleagues. Located at about a 10 minute drive away from the center of Malacca City, Tambak Paya welcomes you with a various, awesome activities such as making traditional cakes like Kacang Tumbuk, fermented Tapioca and many more. Keep in track what's going on at their place.
Tourists can participate in the agricultural sector, especially rice farming, rubber and palm oil. Visitors can visit the paddy fields in enclosures, Bukit Bukit Lintang. Visitors can see the rubber plantations in Paya Redan while Ayer Molek palm Army. Vegetable crops are also a source of extra income residents in Bukit Pantai, Redan Wetlands and enclosures
Activities: Culture performances, rubber tapping demonstration and visit to handicrafts centre, palm oil plantation, batik factory and beautiful traditional houses.

Kampung Alai
The kampung originally got her name from a tree called 'Alai'. There are about 500 houses with a population of more than 2000 people. Kampung Alai is well known for its "Kompang" group, a traditional Malay musical greeting played on special occasions
